On Wednesday(14th of April),i started my very first petition ever to Saint Expedite,whom i discovered some months earlier.I asked for financial help for a sudden medical expence,but i also explained to the Saint the other big financial problems which are related with my shop. The very SAME day and i think,even before i start my petition,my dad received a phone call by one of his brothers,concerning an issue about some old homesites.Please take in account,that i am talking about an issue which has been concidered by most of the people who are involved in it (and they are many!)as a dead one.My parents are married since'78 and this issue has been going on since then... But now for the very first time,there are actually VERY GOOD chances for my dad to earn a lot of money from 5 of these homesites!! I don't believe in coincidences!I know that it's God who is helping us out,through this glorious and benevolent Saint!!Things are now set in motion and i know that we will receive more than what i asked for!! I am so low on money right now, so I printed a picture of him, and went to dollar store to buy a frame. I cut out the cover of a red notebook to use as the backing. I then bought red votive candles because that was what I could afford. I went home, put the the picture together, built a shrine the best I could with what I have and sat down and talked to him. I told him of everything that was going on in my life and asked him to help me. I told him why I needed the help that I was asking for which there are numerous problems happening. I didn't ask for help with any of those other problems, but sitting at my desk today at work, I received a phone call from my father to tell me that one of the many problems I had mentioned but didn't ask for help with... IS going to be ok. It involves moving my mother from a very bad nursing home to a better one where she will be treated better and cared for better. We were only able to put her on the waitlist for this a little shy of a month ago, and was told that it was a 6-7 month wait... We are moving her this coming Monday. Thank you so much Saint Expedite and Jesus for coming to my family's aid when I didn't even ask for your help with this. After I post this, I am going to buy some flowers and somehow figure out how to get some pound cake.. inexpensively... I will find a way because that is what I promised and am so grateful. I had ordered a package from a spiritual supply company, and it took a month to arive, and was initially sent to the wrong address. Thank you for whispering the words to me that would see me through this rough time helping me to realize that sometimes procrastination is our inner heart trying to be heard over the noise of our minds and egos. I admit that I did not call on St. Expedite when I first thought of invoking his help. I procrastinated even that. I had a paper that I needed to write. A paper in which I had to write things I really did not believe in a way that was not representative of who I am spiritually order to fit into a system that was too narrow for me. When I did call on St. Expedite, he did answer my prayers. Yes I did finish the paper. I had a final draft in the hands of the person who needed it before the meeting but 5 days beyond my own self imposed deadline. The prayers of my mind were answered. I did finish the paper. But even more importantly, the prayers of my deepest heart of hearts that the cup of compromising who I am in order to fit in be taken from me were answered too. St. Expedite thank you for delivering me from a system in which I would have withered and died spiritually had I remained. Thank you that the decision to free me from that system was made before I handed in the paper before I walked into the meeting. Thank you for saving me from that fate.
